TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to all our services and are effective from the point at which a booking is made. From time to time, we amend our terms and conditions and reserve the right to do this at any time.  We will provide you with an updated copy if you are affected.

 

BOOKING YOUR SESSION

Where we take a booking from you for a Personal Styling Session, we will take a 50% deposit to secure your booking, with the exception of gift vouchers where full payment is required on booking.  Unless paying for a styling package or course in instalments (which will be shown or pre agreed) all styling services are not confirmed unless a booking fee equivalent to 50% of the service being booked has been received.  The balance of your payment is due at least 72 hours before the date of your arranged consultation.

 

Any travel 25 miles outside of York will incur a mileage cost of 50p per mile.  I am happy to travel to clients however any rail ticket, parking or taxi fees involved in the journey will be charged to clients.

 

Cancellation fee for styling services:

Cancellation 72 hours prior to first appointment 75%

Cancellation within 48 hours prior to first appointment 100%

Styling services can be postponed but must be rebooked and taken within six months of original date of booking.   The full fee is non refundable if the service has been paid, postponed and still not used within the 6 months of the original service being booked. Once a package has commenced it cannot be cancelled due to the preparation work that is required to provide this service.

Events and workshop ticket fees once confirmed are non transferable or refundable.

FEES

Our hourly rate is £45 per hour, we also have certain packages available to our clients which will be discussed at the time of booking.

PAYMENTS

All payments are taken via online banking or Paypal. We are unable to process cheques or accept cash payments.  A non refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking the balance payable at least 72 hours before your agreed consultation. With the exception of gift vouchers where full payment will be requested on booking.  You will receive an invoice by email confirming the costs, details of your consultation/gift and how to pay.

 

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

There maybe situations you need to reschedule your booking, please advise us as soon as possible of the need for a changed appointment.  We will work with you to arrange a revised appointment as soon as possible.  Please note that an administration charge of £10 will be added when less than 72 hours notice is given.

In the unusual event that we need to reschedule your appointment for an emergency, we will make every effort to find a suitable alternative appointment.  If we are unable to offer a suitable alternative appointment then we will offer you a full refund.

 

REFUNDS

All payments made to Styled By Sara for Personal Style Consultations are non-refundable unless we have made a written agreement with you.  In the unlikely event we have to cancel your appointment and are unable to offer a replacement appointment we will offer you a full refund.

Gift Vouchers are non refundable.

COVID-19

Covid-19 Policy - Appointments pre booked prior to any Covid-19 lockdown can be transferred to online services. All online services will be available and will not need to be cancelled by the client or Styled By Sara due to Covid-19. If a client wishes to postpone or cancel their styling session/s then the terms and conditions as above will apply.  For all face to face services that are postponed and not taken online a new date will be arranged as soon as possible after lockdown has been lifted by the government guidelines. All postponed services must be taken within 6 months of lockdown lifting unless pre agreed with Styled By Sara. The normal refund /cancellation policy applies.

 

Online courses - When booking onto a course with Styled By Sara, the deposit indicated is required to confirm the space and the contract of agreement must be signed.  The balance is then required by the date advised prior to the course commencing.  Once the course has commenced the course fee is non refundable. Participants are able to postpone a place on a course with prior agreement before it has commenced but this must be taken within 1 year of the original date of the course commencing. Each persons success and results from participating in this course will depend upon their dedication and motivation to achieve results.

Styled By Sara do not provide medical or psychological services or counselling and the content included in styling services and courses are not to treat any mental health or physical medical conditions. Each client / participant is responsible for their own mental, physical and emotional well being including decisions, any actions taken and results.

PROTECTION FOR YOU

All correspondence with our clients is made in writing for your protection.  We will detail the information you supply to us to ensure you are happy with the way in which your consultation will be conducted.

We will only use your personal details for the purpose of your consultation and ensure they are kept safe and secure for the time in which we are working with you. 

In the unlikely event you feel you haven’t received the service you are happy with, we’d like to know and will try our best to rectify the matter with you.  It is always helpful if you are very clear about what you would like to achieve at the beginning of working with us.

Styled By Sara reserve the right to make amendments to bookings at any time where necessary and where it is in the best interest of you, the client.

Styled By Sara ( "we" / "our" / "us"). We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6

years after which time it will be destroyed. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you

notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

 STORING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

In operating our business via   website, your data is processed by our staff in the UK. We do not

provide our own IT servers. However third party shall have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

 

STORAGE OF PAYMENT DETAILS

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
